Professor Li with PhD in TCM is a disciple of Dr. Liu Zhi Ming. He is the inventor of UTCMH acupuncture treatment system and the author of "UTCMH Science of Acupuncture“. Dr. Li is also the founder of Home of Canadian TCM Society with mission to advocate TCM in the local communities and to build a solid foundation for the TCM industries in BC, Canada. He is praised as one of the forerunners relentlessly advocating Traditional Chinese Medicine to BC local communities.

Executive Director  Tse, Sylvia Xiao Hua

Sylvia is a registered TCM practitioner in BC, Canada. She has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture for over twenty years. She is passionate about being a TCM practitioner, especially with great joy watching her patients recover from illnesses. She is skilled in treating emotional disorders, insomnia, gastrointestinal diseases, and gynecological diseases. She provides complementary treatment for chemotherapy and electrotherapy patients, and investigates complicated and cancerous diseases. Her belief is that anyone should focus on being healthy as the primary priority while starting early prevention as the second priority. Having a doctor to treat an illness especially at the final stage of the disease is the worst thing to do. She provides comprehensive treatment for patients, not only treatment on physical body, but also on the mental wellness as well holistically.

Executive Chairman  Guan, Zhen Xiong

Victor is a registered Acupuncturist in BC, Canada. He graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with a major in Acupuncture. After graduation, he worked in the Acupuncture medical department in one of the top-tier hospitals in China for over ten years. He continues his TCM career after relocating to Canada. He specializes in treating various types of pain, rheumatic diseases, skin diseases, digestive diseases, gynecological diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and neurological diseases. He is also an advocator to introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine and its culture and local communities. He orchestrated in many large-scale community events such as the Spring Festival Gala for the TCM communities, the largest MD/TCM collaboration promotional free clinic event in Vancouver, and the International Elderly Day free clinic event, etc. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Victor organized a volunteering team of TCM practitioners to host numerous webinars, sharing the COVID prevention/treatment knowledges with other TCM practitioners around the world. When CARB-TCMPA moved ahead with cancelling the Chinese version of Pan-Canadian Examinations without consultation with affected parties, especially the students. Victor organized the concerned parties to make their voices heard, which won praise and strong support from the provincial government.

Director of TCM Community Service  Li, Guo Wei                                                                              (Term: 2022 - 2024)

Guo Wei is a registered TCM practitioner in BC, Canada. He currently studies in the Doctor TCM diploma program at Vancouver Beijing College of Chinese Medicine and he currently holds the TCMP license. He is skilled at both Acupuncture and TCM Tuina to treat trauma and internal medicine diseases.

Head of Office  Ding, Yu Xin                                                                                                                  (Term: 2022 - 2024)

Yu Xin is a registered TCM practitioner in BC, Canada. She has been reading extensively since childhood, especially on medical books from both Chinese and Western medicine. Influenced by her family, Yu Xin has a passion for learning classical Acupuncture techniques. Years ago, she was mentored by Professor Rong-Gang Li to master the UTCMH Acupuncture System. Under Professor Li's strict and thorough training, Yu Xin was able to realize the power of the Professor Li's invented system in her clinical practice. The Acupuncture treatment system is effective in treating diseases in internal medicine, gynecology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and various types of pain such as headaches, neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, and leg pain. The treatment system's efficacy especially stands out for addressing various not-well-understood illnesses. In social activity front, Yu Xin actively participates in activities to promote TCM culture locally. As one of the founding members, she participated in every major event and several community service activities such as the largest MD/TCM collaboration promotional free clinic event. Yu Xin hopes to contribution her part to advocate for the development of TCM culture outside of China.

Yuan Gao is a registered Acupuncturist in BC, Canada. 

Director of TCM Promotion and Development  Wu, Steve Zu-Ching                                           (Term: 2022 - 2024)

Steve is both a passionate licensed TCM practitioner and a veteran software engineer in BC, Canada. He has over twenty years of software development experiences before stepping into the realm of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. He believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine will become an integral part of individual’s lifestyle and community healthcare through advances in science and technology. Graduated with an Applied Science degree from University of British Columbia and a diploma for Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Dr. TCM) from Tze Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCICTCM), Steve witnessed and experienced the effectiveness of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture first-hand. He has learnt from many incredible teachers that were integral to his quest of becoming a competent practitioner. He believes that the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture is beyond disease treatments and health cultivations. Through the tools from this thousand-old medical practice, he believes that any individual can be in his/her best state to face any life challenge, either battling pain and illnesses, health cultivations, studying in school, working in high stress job, preparing for competitive activities, or confronting difficult circumstances. Steve will be there to support his patients. Steve is also active in many Traditional Chinese Medicine promotional events. In 2022, he participated as one of the candidates in the CTCMA board election. He hopes to contribute in any way he can to advocate the Traditional Chinese Medicine development in BC.

Vice Secretary Executive General  Zhong, Arica                                                                             (Term: 2022 - 2024)

Arica is both a registered Acupuncturist and a registered TCM Practitioner in BC, Canada. She has a bachelor of Arts from University of British Columbia and an advanced translation and interpretation diploma from Simon Fraser University. She has a TCM Practitioner diploma from Tze Chi International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCICTCM) and she is currently undertaking the doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine fellowship at Five Branches University. Arica is passionate about TCM cultures and strives to spread this vibrantly practical wisdom far and wide. She’s humbled to be part of the global healthcare force contributing to healthier and happier communities. Dear to her heart, is the timeless teaching passed down by the Medicinal Sage Zhongjing: stays hungry, stays clinical.
